Jane McEwen has over two decades of experience as a facilitator, trainer and speaker. In that time she has earned a reputation as an engaging, fun and effective professional who delivers results for her participants. Jane has extensive skills as a Mentor Manager and Program Director for federal, state and local grants.

Jane has developed mentoring, afterschool and AmeriCorps programs from grass roots to success! She’s developed programs for colleges, public schools and churches (i.e. pilot e-Mentoring and GEARUP programs for Sinclair Community College. Jane provided workshops at Fast Forward Re-engagement Summit, National Dropout Prevention Center 2018 Reaching the Wounded Student Conference and IUPUI’s National Mentoring Symposium. Jane was also a presenter for a nationwide panel entitled “Building Partners” facilitated by Reverend Dr. Wilson Goode, Jr., the founder of Amachi and former first Black Mayor of Philadelphia. As the former Project Manager, Jane developed The Mentoring Collaborative of Montgomery County AmeriCorps Program managing for (6) years; growing from 20 to 30 members serving in 12 partner agencies within Montgomery County for the program.

Jane is the Founder/Executive Director of PALS (Positive Parenting and Life Skills) a support group that provided leadership and programming for Dayton’s inner city young moms (seven years). She served as the Director for New City School 21st Century Afterschool Program serving over 100 children in the community of Dayton, Ohio. She also has served on a variety of boards through the community. She was the manager of a school-based mentoring program at Dayton Early College Academy.

Jane currently she serves as the Manager for The Mentoring Collaborative of Montgomery County under the Student and Enrichment Services a community faced division of Sinclair College. Jane’s excellent communication skills and supportive, respectful and lightheaded approach have earned her the highest evaluations as a trainer. Jane is currently a student in Pre-doctoral of Ministry at United Theological Seminary. She received a Bachelor’s of General Studies – Indiana University and Master of Business Administration/Global Management – University of Phoenix. She and Jim, her husband for 20 years spend their time traveling and enjoying their blended family of six children and nine grandchildren.
